Titus 1:11 They must be silenced, because they are turning whole families away from the truth by their false teaching. And they do it only for money.

I Corinthians 13:1‭-‬2 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And though I have the  gift  of  prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.

I told you before, that always ask yourself, ‘WHY AM I DOING THIS?’ Get to the motive and motivation behind what you are doing before you do it, if you want it to count eternally before God. For God always weighs your motive and not just your actions.

We have seen how Jesus said those who give with the motive to be seen have already received their reward. Those who pray and worship and go to church with the wrong motive are performing empty acts.

You will be surprised, that there are some preachers whose motivation for preaching is money or what King James calls “filthy lucre”, and not love for God or for the people. You can find believers or ministers of  the Gospel who speak heavenly tongues of angels but it is all EMPTY WORDS before God because they lack LOVE – “Empty Gongs”, the Bible calls them. So don’t be intimated by the tongues people speak or by their prophetic powers. Have you not seen people stand on the church stage and minister wonderfully, but you encounter them in person and they are as cold as ice? LOVE IS MISSING IN THEIR LIVES, and Paul says, YOU ARE NOTHING in the eternal reckoning of God, if you are like that.

WHY ARE YOU DOING WHAT YOU ARE DOING? Don’t quickly answer that – But search your heart for the truest answer to that question. Are you looking for money, or fame,  or recognition? WHAT IS YOUR HIDDEN INTENT? You can’t hide it before the Lord. Praise God Forevermore!
