Colossians 1:12‭-‬13 AMPC Giving thanks to the Father, Who has qualified and made us fit to share the portion which is the inheritance of the saints (God’s holy people) in the Light. [The Father] has delivered and drawn us to Himself out of the control and the dominion of darkness and has transferred us into the kingdom of the Son of His love

Another way the Bible describes your IN CHRIST dwelling place is that you dwell in the ‘kingdom of the Son of His love’.

Before you were saved, you were in the kingdom of darkness, in the control and the dominion of the devil. If the devil conducted a census, your name appeared as a citizen, and you were subject to his rule and reign – the devil could do anything he wanted to you and use you as he pleased. Then Jesus delivered you from there and  migrated you into a different country, His kingdom. He then gave you a citizenship green card in His country. You are now a resident in God’s kingdom. You live there now and you are governed by it’s laws and statutes.

That’s why Collosians 1:13 says,

“Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son.”

 When you believed the Gospel of Christ, something remarkable happened to you, howbeit in the spiritual plane. Your citizenship changed and you were TRANSLATED into the kingdom of Jesus Christ. You are God’s Child now and you have the green card of the kingdom of God. If you can believe and hold dear your citizenship as a Ghanaian or as a Nigerian,  then you should even more believe in your citizenship in the kingdom of God*. Praise God Forevermore. YOUR NAME IS IN GOD’S BOOK. Hallelujah!
