2 Corinthians 6:14-16 Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? Or what does a believer have in common with an unbeliever? What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols?
The Believer and the unbeliever are utterly heterogeneous, and such an alliance or mixture must not be attempted at all.
“Do not be unequally bound together with unbelievers [do not make mismatched alliances with them, inconsistent with your faith]. For what partnership can righteousness have with lawlessness? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? What harmony can there be between Christ and Belial (Satan)? Or what does a believer have in common with an unbeliever? What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? “
This is how you will help yourself to stay hot and unentangled by the world.
The Lord calls you to come out and be separate.
He says, “Come out from among them And be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, And I will receive you.” – II Corinthians 6:17
One of the key reasons why the child of God will be lukewarm is the associations or company he keeps. There is such a thing as an ‘Unholy Alliance’ or an ‘Unequal Yoke’. The more a believer does not understand that there must be a separation between them and the world, the more LUKEWARM they will be in their living.
Please understand that, THERE IS NO FELLOWSHIP BETWEEN LIGHT AND DARKNESS. Intentionally create that SEPARATION for your own good. Hallelujah!
GRACEFUL MORNING
