Ephesians 5:30-33 “For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. 31. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. 32. This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church. 33. Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.

EARTHLY MARRIAGE IS SUCH A BEAUTIFUL THING, BECAUSE IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE A TYPOLOGY OF THE MARRIAGE BETWEEN CHRIST AND THE CHURCH.

So when the Bible says,

“For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh”, it is essentially referring to Christ. What does that mean? It means, we can safely say that, THE REASON WHY JESUS LEFT HIS FATHER IN HEAVEN AND CAME TO EARTH IS TO LOOK FOR A WIFE TO MARRY.

If you understand this, then you would appreciate my earlier statement that, ALL ALONG, GOD’S GRAND PLAN FOR THE WORLD, IS MARRIAGE. The reason for Salvation, the reason for the gifts of the Holy Spirit, for prayer, for fasting, for singing, for church  and all, is to GET YOU READY FOR MARRIAGE WITH CHRIST. This is really the reason for evangelism and soul winning, and every Christian activity. They are all a means to an end, and the end is MARRIAGE.

This is why you must respect the Marriage Institution on earth. It is a sanctimonious program, which when done well unleashes great blessings that cannot be quantified. May your marriage be blessed in Jesus name. Say AMEN!
