Matthew 6:25‭-‬27 Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?

For one reason or the other, most men will find a reason to worry. Most people are mentally set up like that, they must always be anxious or worried about something. And they are surprised when their lives are full of problems and issues.

But it’s amazing how Jesus talks about these things. He says don’t worry about food, clothing, shelter, and all the necessities of life. It doesn’t mean be lazy and don’t work or plan. Do all these but DON’T WORRY. Jesus quizzed sarcastically, “Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?” LOL. William Ward rightly described it as, WORRY IS WASTING TODAY’S TIME TO CLUTTER UP TOMORROW’S OPPORTUNITIES WITH YESTERDAY’S TROUBLES.

And without knowing it or paying attention to it, you are actually attracting more unpleasant situations into your life with your worry. Worry is like a magnet that attracts negative conditions unto itself. That’s why Jesus tells you DON’T WORRY. No matter what you are going through, learn to cast your burdens unto the Lord and cease to worry.

Like the Bible says in 1Peter 5,

‘Casting all your cares [all your anxieties, all your worries, and all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares about you [with deepest affection, and watches over you very carefully].’

DON’T WORRY CHILD OF GOD, YOUR FATHER LOVES YOU WITH THE DEEPEST AFFECTION AND WATCHES OVER YOU JEALOUSLY. You are blessed
