Matthew 10:32-33 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

There are in practice PART-TIME or SEASONAL believers. They come to church at Christmas, or Easter, or 31st Night(New year’s Eve), or other special times. The rest of the times, they can’t be bothered. Do you think such a person is truly subjected to the Lordship of Christ?

What about believers that change their complexion when they are within other circles? They are afraid to profess their faith when they are among unbelieving friends or colleagues. What? YOU ARE ASHAMED OF YOUR LORD AND SAVIOR? Because your colleagues may not approve of it? Who cares what they approve or don’t approve of?

Like Paul said,

“Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.- Galatians 1:10”

It’s like that lady who is ashamed to point out her mother in public gatherings, because to her, the mother doesn’t look good and can’t speak proper English because she is illiterate.

Are you a Part-time Believer or a full time one? Are you ashamed of our Lord Jesus? Don’t be like that lady who denies her illiterate mother in gatherings. You should be better than that.
