Psalms 23:1-3 1.The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. 3 He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake.
If God is your shepherd, why do you still lack? If the limitless God is your father why do you still suffer want? If God gives good gifts to his children like he said in Luke 11, why does it not show in the lives of many believers?
You would find that, many of us quote the scriptures but the truth of it hasn’t settled in our hearts yet. If you say, “The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.” Why do you still lack?
The truth is, NO BRANCH OF THE VINE, PROPERLY AND VITALLY CONNECTED TO THE TRUNK SHOULD LACK ANY GOOD NUTRIENT OR RESOURCE WHICH IS WITHIN THE VINE. Your every need must be met if you see yourself as part of the father. The trunk of a tree cannot deny its branch.
This is why the Bible tells you, ” For ALL THINGS ARE YOURS: whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas, or the world or life or death, or things present or things to come—all are yours. And you are Christ’s, and Christ is God’s. (I Cor 3:21-23)
In God there is everything – He has no lack. So when you are placed well in him, and and you have that knowledge and consciousness, you have access to all the things in God. You will lack nothing. It doesn’t matter what the need is, one way or the other the supply comes. That’s why David could say, THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD SO I SHALL NOT WANT. You should be able to say that too. Hallelujah!
Meditate on these and the Lord will give you understanding. Be blessed.
GRACEFUL MORNING
