1 Peter 3:6 Even as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose daughters ye are, as long as ye do well, and are not afraid with any amazement.

Titus 3:1‭-‬2 Remind the people to be subject to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready to do whatever is good, to slander no one, to be peaceable and considerate, and always to be gentle toward everyone.

Someone asked me, ‘What about the Bible saying Sarah called Abraham Lord? Shouldn’t the wife regard the husband as Lord because he is the head of the wife?’

I do understand the headship of the husband to the wife in a marriage. Without being too technical with words, we can say the husband is the head or Lord of the wife or home.

Not only at the home; At our various offices or work places, your employer is the boss or Lord there – and you must do as (s)he determines. In the classroom, the lecturer is the Lord there and he determines the rules of engagement in that class.

But you see, the LORDSHIP of Christ in your life is unrivaled and unparalleled. Even though you might have several bosses or mini-lords in the various departments of your life, THE LORDSHIP OF CHRIST SUPER-IMPOSES ON ALL OF THEM. CHRIST IS YOUR ONLY ONE AND TRUE LORD.

This is what I am saying:

If your boss at work demands sex of you in the capacity as your boss, do you just give in? Well, if the LORDSHIP of Christ in your life is not more supreme than that of your boss, you might give in. But that only goes to show that Christ Is Not Really Your Lord Even Though You Say He Is.

There is no confusion if Christ is your Lord. Anytime any instruction from anybody(no matter who) conflicts with that of Christ, you always know who to obey – YOUR LORD’S COMMAND STANDS SUPREME, and whoever is on the other side can go to hell.

That is why the real question is: WHO IS YOUR LORD? Selah!
