1 Corinthians 10:31-33
Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God. Give no occasion of stumbling, either to Jews, or to Greeks, or to the church of God: even as I also please all men in all things, not seeking mine own profit, but the profit of the many, that they may be saved.
Christianity should not be confined to Sunday service or Wednesday midweek service, where we put on our best clothes and appear sanctimonious. Whatsoever we do in our daily activities must project Christ and give glory to God:
Whether we eat or starve, whether we drink or taste; When we bath, sleep, work,wash.. ad infinitum. EVERYTHING WE SAY OR DO, LET IT BE TO THE GLORY OF GOD.
Revelation 4:11 says,
“Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.”
This must not be a laborious and burdensome pursuit. Man was created to give pleasure to God. And many people, not knowing how to do this have resorted to religious rituals to please God. But look at how the flowers bloom, look at how the birds warble, look at how effortless the wind moves, look at the rivers…look at nature and you will see how everything in nature gives glory to God in their natural habitat. EVEN SO YOU, IN ALL YOU DO, LET IT BE TO THE GLORY OF GOD – FOR THAT’S YOUR NATURAL ESTATE.
Glory to God!
