Galatians 5:16-18 So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.

There is a difference between your LIVING IN THE SPIRIT and your WALK IN THE SPIRIT. And this is where sometimes people confuse it. You may find a believer who is born  of the spirit and lives in the spirit but does not walk in the spirit, but rather walks in the flesh and gratifies the desires of the flesh.

The scriptures tell us what the works of the flesh are and what the fruit of the spirit is.

IF YOU DON’T WANT TO FULFILL THE LUST OF THE FLESH, YOU MUST WALK IN THE SPIRIT. Why that?

Because the flesh is warring against the spirit all the time, and the spirit against the flesh. The two are ANTAGONISTIC to each other. The things the spirit wants to do, the flesh doesn’t like it; and the flesh doesn’t also enjoy what the spirit wants.

So the Spirit admonishes in Galatians 5:25 that,

If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

CHILD OF GOD, WALK IN THE SPIRIT FOR THAT IS YOUR NATURAL ESTATE. Hallelujah!
