Luke 10:19 Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Mark 16:18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

Jesus gave to us DELEGATED AUTHORITY – that’s another blessing you have received from God as HIS child.

And with this authority, the child of God has the power to stand face to face with sickness, with demons, with danger, and with any unpleasant situation or circumstance, and command them as he/she pleases, and they will obey.

This authority has been given to you as much as it has been given the pope. Do you know that no Bishop or Archbishop has more authority than any other child of God? Yes indeed. You have equal rights and privileges to the use of the name of Jesus as any minister you know of. The trouble is that, some of God’s children have grown in understanding and mastery of their authority than others. And so they use it more confidently and have much success rate as a result. Sadly, a rather large number of God’s children remain naïve and novice regarding the authority they have been given and hence remain beaten and dominated by these forces of life.

But these things ought not to be so. YOU ARE GOD’S CHILD, MADE IN THE IMAGE AND LIKENESS OF GOD HIMSELF. This is why you have been given God’s life – which is eternal life, and AUTHORITY. Don’t cower and shrink in fear, GET UP AND TAKE YOUR PLACE. Speak to that mountain before you, and see it disappear into thin air right before your eyes. Glory to God. Hallelujah.

YOU’VE GOT THE POWER IN CHRIST JESUS. USE IT. Amen!
