Luke 11:5-8 And he said unto them, Which of you shall have a friend, and shall go unto him at midnight, and say unto him, Friend, lend me three loaves; For a friend of mine in his journey is come to me, and I have nothing to set before him? And he from within shall answer and say, Trouble me not: the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give thee. I say unto you, Though he will not rise and give him, because he is his friend, yet because of his importunity he will rise and give him as many as he needeth.
If we approach the FATHERHOOD dimension of God in prayer, we will find that Our Father is more willing to give than we are to request.
Jesus told 2 parables on prayer. One of them is the one above where the man received his request from his unwilling neighbor because he was persistent. This is not saying that God is unwilling to give to you, but is rather saying:
“Every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.”-Luke 11:10
You know the way some people think? They say, “oh, I don’t want to bother God.” You? Bother God? Come on! He said, ASK OF ME AND I WILL GIVE YOU THE NATIONS. There is absolutely nothing that YOU can think of that is too hard for God, and which will be a bother to Him; Can’t you understand that He is your FATHER? Every Father knows that it is a delight to provide for the needs of your children and see them delighted and happy. Your REQUESTS and NEEDS are not a bother to God.
In the arms of my Father, I have made many strange requests for people and for myself and I have seen the Father done them over and over again.
Don’t be afraid, COME TO DADDY AND ASK AND YOU SHALL RECEIVE. SAY AMEN
GRACEFUL MORNING
