II Corinthians 5:21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

Matthew 5:13‭-‬14 You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men. You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.

In order not to live in ‘Identity Crisis’, you must know with certainty WHO YOU ARE. I must know what God has said about me, if I am going to live true to it. So after a person is born again, he/she must embark on a self discovery journey where they seek out the knowledge of their identity. And it is for this reason that God gives you HIS WORD and HIS SPIRIT to aid you in your enlightenment.

I Corinthians 2:12 says, Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.

As a Child of God, you must know all YOUR I AMness IN CHRIST. Whenever you read God’s word and you come across a statement that declares something YOU ARE, you must take keen notice of it and not forget it. For instance, the word of God says, YOU ARE the Righteousness of God in Christ; and this is not based on whether you do something good or not. When you do right you are the Righteousness of  God, when you do wrong you are still the righteousness of God. In fact, it is by this knowledge that you will eventually overcome all your fleshy sinful tendencies. Jesus declares that, YOU ARE the salt of the earth, and YOU ARE the light of the world. He says, YOU ARE a city set on a hill.

Ask yourself,  WHO AT ALL AM I? Ponder over it and let the Holy Spirit help you to arrive at your self discovery and self actualization in Jesus name. You are blessed!
