2 Peter 2:9 The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:
1 Thessalonians 3:5 For this cause, when I could no longer forbear, I sent to know your faith, lest by some means the tempter have tempted you, and our labour be in vain.
Pastor James tells us in James 1:13, that
“Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God”; for *God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone.”
The tempter is the devil, who is moving around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to destroy. He is always throwing thoughts and things at you to get you to lose your faith and give up. He wants to break your will. He sends sicknesses and troubles and afflictions. He comes to steal, kill and destroy. That’s his day job.
God’s involvement in that evil is to deliver you from it, or use it to build virtue in you. God will always provide a way of escape for you so you won’t be overtaken by the evil. So the scripture says in I Corinthians 10:13,
“No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.”
Your father is full of love and His thoughts and plans for you are good continuously. When the devil sends evil, God always makes sure that there is a way of escape for you. He makes sure that even though you might have played a part to cause that bad situation, the devil will not put on you something beyond your ability and strength of resistance and power to endure. He says,
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” That’s your Father’s involvement in any trouble the devil sends to you. I want to help your Faith so that you will be fully convinced that the Father loves you unconditionally. You are His child – and you need to be convinced about His love for you. Hallelujah!
Have a beautiful day in Jesus name. Amen!
