John 15:1-2 “I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit.
In this passage in John 15, Jesus teaches on the condition of fruitlessness and its consequences. Without mincing words, Jesus unapologetically says,
“EVERY BRANCH IN ME THAT BEARETH NOT FRUIT THE FATHER TAKETH AWAY”
This is not the usual teachings you hear on the subject, but you have to hear it nonetheless because it is a vital truth of the kingdom. THE BELIEVERS THAT LIVE ANYHOW AND REMAIN FRUITLESS AFTER SOMETIME WILL BE CUT AWAY AND LOSE THEIR STANDING IN CHRIST. What I am saying is that, ‘ONCE SAVED IS NOT ALWAYS FOREVER SAVED’ – IT DEPENDS ON THE MANNER OF YOUR SALVATION. It will take me sometime to properly explain this, but for the purposes of this passage, understand that, THE LORD DOES NOT WANT ANY FRUITLESS BRANCH IN HIS VINE – He REMOVES them. How long will a branch be allowed to be unfruitful before it is removed, is a subject for another day. But it is clear that, THE FINAL DESTINATION OF THE UNFRUITFUL IS A SEVERANCE FROM THE VINE.
Are you a FRUITLESS branch, or a FRUITFUL one? Selah! Ponder over this, and you will receive understanding from the Lord. Hallelujah!
GRACEFUL MORNING
