Ecclesiastes 9:10 Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might, for in the realm of the dead, where you are going, there is neither working nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom.
Yes, YOU CAN ONLY WORK WHILES IT IS DAY. And YOUR DAY is your ‘Life Lived in Christ ‘. Before born again, you were in darkness (night).
“He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love. (Colossians 1:13)”
And everything you do or did in the darkness doesn’t count. The man who got saved and justified in Christ, and who died without any GOOD WORKS done has no records of his life on earth in the eternal records of God. It’s as though he never lived.
The truth is not always sweet, but it’s undeniable nonetheless. The truth is:
GOD IS NOT INTERESTED IN THE GOOD WORKS OF THE UNREGENERATED MAN. It is what the Bible refers to as THE WORKS OF A DEAD MAN – FILTHY RAGS. They don’t count because they are no works at all; I call them GHOST WORKS.
Tell your unbelieving friend, “FRIEND, IT’S AN ABSOLUTE WASTE OF YOUR LIFE LIVING OUTSIDE CHRIST. EVERY GOOD THING YOU DO DOESN’T COUNT.”
