I Corinthians 13:12 NKJV [12] For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part(ginosko) but then I shall know just as I also am known.(epiginosko)
Luke 1:34 NKJV [34] Then Mary said to the angel, “How can this be, since I do not know a man?”
The third stage of knowledge is what the Bible captures as EPIGINOSKO. A fuller knowledge than the previous two; It’s a special or deeper kind of knowledge, a full participation or experience in knowledge by subject; It is knowledge which unites subject and object being known.
In EPIGINOSKO, you are not just aware of the knowledge, or seen it, but you have experienced it. At this stage, the dress in the package that was sent to you has been worn and fully explored. You know how it looks on you exactly. This kind of knowledge brings closure and intimacy. That’s why Mary could say to the angel that she has not KNOWN a man, alluding to the knowledge of sexual intimacy.
Indeed, you have not known a thing until you have EPIGNOSIS of it.
Until you have arrived at the full knowledge(Epignosis) of any truth, you do not know it as well as you ought to. This is why 2 Peter 3:18 admonishes us to grow in grace and in knowledge. We must unite and become one with every spiritual truth that God’s word gives, until that word becomes our constant experience which never fails. Hallelujah! Be blessed Child of God. Amen!
GRACEFUL MORNING
