James 1:13-15 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

When it comes to temptations, never say ‘God is tempting me’. Or God brought this temptation to teach me a lesson. THE FATHER DOES NOT TEMPT ANYONE.

We have already seen that the devil is the tempter. But how does he do it? He works through the LUST and DESIRE of man(yourself).

Understand this very well: Something you have not created lust for cannot tempt you. That’s why Apostle James says,

“Each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their OWN DESIRE AND ENTICED. Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death”.

Your temptation to fornicate is because you have been breeding that lust/desire in your heart for a while now. Your temptation to steal that thing is because you have been lusting for it in your heart. Yes you have. You become pregnant with that desire, and as you keep thinking on it, watching scenes on it, engaging in conversations about it, that pregnancy grows UNTIL THE GESTATION PERIOD IS DUE AND YOU ARE READY TO GIVE BIRTH TO THE SIN ITSELF(which is the act).

Please leave God out of this. It is the devil creating that temptation with YOUR HELP through your own lust and desires. SO BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU LUST AND DESIRE FOR IN YOUR HEART. BE CAREFUL THE SEED YOU ARE NURTURING. SELAH!
