Romans 4:19-21 And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb. He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.
Does God lie? Did God lie to Abraham when he called him ‘FATHER OF MANY NATIONS, but yet Abraham had no child? When God tells you something in his Word or through prophecy, and yet you don’t see any sign of it at the moment, does it mean God lied to you?
When God met Abraham, he was called Abram, meaning exalted or assumed father, because the man had no child at 75 years. God says to him, “you will no longer be assumed as a father. I am giving you a son and making you a father of many nations”. And so God changed his name to Abraham… Now, between 75 – 99 years Abraham still didn’t have this promised son and the natural man will say Abraham was not a father, and so it was a lie calling him father. I am sure a lot of people made mockery of him: ‘A father of many nations who has no child’. But was it a lie? No it wasn’t. And you already know the end of that story. GOD DOESN’T LIE AND FAITH DOESN’T FAIL.
Understand this beloved, THE WORD OF GOD DOESN’T FAIL. Let this fill your heart. Let God’s Word inundate your being. If God’s word has said something to you, accept it as TRUE, regardless of what you see. It needs no evidence for it to be true.. Hallelujah! You are blessed 🙌
