Hebrews 11:13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.
I was having a conversation with a young lady the other day, and she said, “I had faith but it didn’t work”. And I know a lot of people have that bad testimony of faith. But you know, THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS FAITH DIDN’T WORK. FAITH ALWAYS WORKS AND NEVER FAILS.
Let’s go over the definition of Faith from previous week with Hebrews 11:13:
SEE IT : having seen them afar off,
HAVE IT : and were persuaded of them,
FEEL IT : and embraced them,
PROCLAIM IT : and confessed them
When you have truly gone through this, there is no such thing as ‘Faith failed’. Like the Fathers of Faith, you might even die without physically receiving the object of your faith but it makes no difference. YOU HAVE BELIEVED AND YOU HAVE RECEIVED. Physical possession or no physical possession does not invalidate your faith. THIS IS REAL TO YOU.
Even in death, Abraham, Noah and co received the promise they were looking for in Christ. Their faith never failed, because FAITH DOESN’T FAIL. Hallelujah!
I pray for you, that, God will build true unwavering Faith in your heart with His word. May you be strengthened in faith in Jesus mighty name. Say Amen.
GRACEFUL MORNING
