Luke 16:10-12 He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much; and he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much. Therefore if you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches? And if you have not been faithful in what is another man’s, who will give you what is your own?
As far as faithfulness goes, if you are unfaithful with little you will be unfaithful with much, if you are faithful with little, you are most likely going to be faithful with plenty. The guy who cannot pay Tithe when he has GHS500 is certainly going to have trouble giving Tithe on GHS50,000. If you are unfaithful in your dating relationship, you are most likely going to be unfaithful when you marry, unless something changes you.
The point is, PRACTICE FAITHFULNESS IN THE LITTLE THINGS. Don’t postpone it for the grandeur, for what you do in the little things is the same that will show in the big ones. Be faithful to your time – when you give people a certain time, do your best to keep it. Be faithful and true to your word. If you are not, it will show up in big things very soon. When you take things from people and you promise to return it at a certain time, be faithful. If not, very soon nobody will be willing to give you anything. Be faithful when you have one loaf of bread or a barn full.
Be faithful at work, both when no one is watching, or someone is. A lot of people treat their duties at work with infidelity. You cheat your boss with your work output, and yet you wish to become your own boss someday? How do you think this works? Jesus quizzed,
‘And if you have not been faithful in what is another man’s, who will give you what is your own?’
Beloved, make no mistake about it. God cannot be mocked, whatsoever a man sows he shall also reap. Selah! Have a blessed day!
GRACEFUL MORNING
