Romans 10:9-10 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.
One of the requirements for a person to be born again is to confess JESUS AS LORD of your life. And everyone who has obtained salvation must have done that.
But there’s a gap between what you have professed and what you actually practice – for many profess what they don’t mean, and mean what they don’t profess. That’s why Jesus said,
“Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.” – Matthew 7:21
Is your heart in agreement with your lip confession, when you say “Jesus is your Lord”?
You must understand that, It’s not enough to confess JESUS IS LORD. When you say Jesus is your Lord, do you understand what you are saying? And do you mean what it means? Selah!
AND IF YOU DIDN’T MEAN IT, ARE YOU REALLY SAVED? CAN JESUS BE YOUR SAVIOUR AND NOT YOUR LORD? Selah! Selah! You can fake things before men, but in the spirit, you cannot do that – THINGS APPEAR AS THEY TRULY ARE, WITHOUT CAMOUFLAGE. This is why I keep telling you, that there are people who are mechanically joined to the vine, but their joining is improper and hence the vine life is not finding expression in their lives. Don’t be one of those.
Hallelujah! Have a glorious day in Jesus mighty name. Amen!
GRACEFUL MORNING
