1 Corinthians 9:27 But I discipline my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a CASTAWAY.

Romans 1:28 “And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;” 

SO WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU GO THROUGH TRIALS WITH PAIN AND YOU FAIL THE TEST?

You would have wasted the pain. Just as after passing the test you will be “DOKIMOS”, ie, Approved; one can also be “ADOKIMOS” ie, Rejected, Not Approved, Castaway.

What happens if one fails his/her WASSCE? Well, you can’t proceed to the next level in your academics, right? You would have to RESIT the exams again and again until you are good enough to PASS it and be APPROVED to proceed to the university. It’s the same in the Kingdom Life. The areas of life that you are failing your TESTS and TRIALS in, signifies your point of stagnation in your Christian journey.

For instance, if you are TRIED in your morality, let’s say on the matter of fornication and you fail, you will meet that same trial again, possibly in a different form. You will keep facing it again and again until you have allowed God’s Word to transform you to overcome that challenge. YOU CANNOT MOVE TO THE NEXT LEVEL OF YOUR CHRISTIAN MATURITY UNTIL YOU HAVE PASSED THE CURRENT TRIAL. Sadly, this is how many of us are stagnated in our Christian Faith.

THAT YOU WILL RECEIVE STRENGTH AND GRACE TO OVERCOME THE TRIALS OF LIFE QUICKLY AND WITH FLYING COLORS IN JESUS. MAY THE PAIN NOT OVERWHELM YOU. MAY YOU MAKE STEADY ADVANCE IN YOUR FAITH IN JESUS NAME. Amen!
