Ecclesiastes 10:5-7 There is an evil I have seen under the sun, the sort of error that arises from a ruler: Fools are put in many high positions, while the rich occupy the low ones. I have seen slaves on horseback, while princes go on foot like slaves.
It’s always an anomaly when you the child of God, born of God, destined to rule and reign, goes through life as a beggar. It’s a clear indication that something is wrong somewhere.
And don’t assume wrongly that it’s humility to be begging and crying for God to do something. It’s not; It’s ignorance of who you are and what you have been given. That’s what Moses was doing when he and the children of Israel came to the red sea when they were being pursued by Pharaoh and his Egyptian army. The Israelites filled with fear started crying to God and moaning to Moses, and Moses also was doing same, but God rebuked him to stop crying and begging, but to speak the word to the sea:
And the Lord said to Moses, “Why do you cry to Me? Tell the children of Israel to go forward. But lift up your rod, and stretch out your hand over the sea and divide it. And the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea. Exodus 14:15-16
The Good News version says,
“Why are you crying out for help? Tell the people to move forward.”
Many atimes, we will be crying and moaning when we ought to be acting and moving. STOP THE BEGGING AND CRYING TOWARDS GOD. TURN AND FACE THAT MOUNTAIN AND SPEAK THE WORD TO IT AND MOVE TOWARDS IT, AND THE MOUNTAIN WILL FADE INTO THIN AIR. For often, when one faces a seemingly fearful situation fearlessly, he soon realises that there is no situation to face; it falls away of its own weight. Praise God Forevermore. That mountain is disappearing right before your eyes in Jesus name. You have been blessed!
GRACEFUL MORNING
