Romans 5:17 For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.

Philippians 3:9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith

One other spiritual blessing we have received in Christ is the GIFT OF RIGHTEOUSNESS. In the law one has to obey all the laws without breaking a single one if they wanted to be righteous. It was literally impossible for any man, hence no one was able to attain righteousness before God, not even a single person, from the high priest to the last slave. So Romans 3:10 says,

“As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one“

But there was one man who was able to attain God’s highest righteous demands, the man Jesus Christ. And after attaining it, he handed over that righteousness to us freely as a gift. So if any man is in Christ, he has received God’s righteousness without doing any good thing. By this righteousness he has received the ability to approach and stand before God without being condemned and killed. It’s amazing. In the old testament, no man could do that, only the high priest could attempt it after several sacrifices and fortifications, and even that he is able to approach only once in the whole year.

Today, glory be to God, we can talk to God from the kitchen, from the washroom, on the streets, everywhere. We have received God’s very righteous nature hence we have unlimited access to his presence, and can talk to him anywhere at anytime like how a little child can approach her father confidently and without fear.

WE HAVE BEEN MADE RIGHT WITH GOD BECAUSE WE HAVE HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS IN CHRIST. Glory to God. Hallelujah!
