Ephesians 1:13‭-‬14 In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.

At the New Birth Experience, WE ALL DRANK OF THE ONE SPIRIT. That sip of the Spirit we had became a SEAL or MARK or STAMP in our spirit IDENTIFYING us that we belong to God.

The One Spirit we partook of at Salvation became the GUARANTEE or PLEDGE or FORETASTE or DEPOSIT or DOWN-PAYMENT, in anticipation of the complete redemption that brings complete possession of everything God promised to give us in Christ.

The Living Bible says in Eph 1:14,

“The Spirit’s presence within us is God’s guarantee that he really will give us all that he promised; and the Spirit’s seal upon us means that God has already purchased us and that he guarantees to bring us to himself.”

Wow!

In Ancient Greek, the Arrabon=guarantee, is a part of the price of a product which is paid in advance as a guarantee that the rest of the payment will be made. Paul is explaining that God gave us the Holy Spirit as a deposit or foretaste of the enormous blessedness that we are to attain in God. Listen beloved, nothing in this world can be compared to the Glory that lies ahead of us, it is just a foretaste – be encouraged and strengthened by that.

And every one who has believed in Jesus has received the same DEPOSIT in your spirit. This is the ONE SPIRIT we all have. Glory to His Name!
