Matthew 4:3-4 Now when the tempter came to Him, he said, “If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread. 4 But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.

Satan questioned Jesus, “IF YOU ARE THE SON OF GOD…”. But mind you, in a few moments ago, during the baptism of Jesus, God had declared to the hearing of all witnesses that,

“This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” -Matthew 3:17. Then Satan comes and says, IF YOU ARE THE SON OF GOD…

Satan will always entice you to forsake what God has said, and point you to a sensual feeling or occurence. This is an age-old trick he uses – he even used it in the garden of Eden against Eve.

This is a powerful trick, because he appeals to the sensuality of humans. Our humanity receives all its impulses from the 5 senses, as a result a lot of us rely heavily on what we see, hear, feel, smell and taste. And this is what the devil takes advantage of. The trouble is that, GOD IS A SPIRIT, and he operates in the spirit realm which is invisible. Most of the things God tells you cannot be readily relatable to your physical senses, but they are true nonetheless. YOU CANNOT SEE IT, BUT IT DOESN’T MEAN IT IS FALSE.

This is where YOU MUST LEARN TO SEE WITHOUT SEEING(physically), HEAR WITHOUT HEARING(physically), RECEIVE WITHOUT SENSING. You must believe God’s word to be true irrespective of all the sensual evidence your humanity presents to you. This is how you will transmute that word from the spiritual realm into the physical, FOR WITHOUT FAITH IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO PLEASE GOD. Hallelujah!

Be a man of the spirit, not of the senses. You are too blessed. Amen!
