Isaiah 31:1 Woe to them that go down to Egypt for help; and stay on horses, and trust in chariots, because they are many; and in horsemen, because they are very strong; but they look not unto the Holy One of Israel, neither seek the Lord!
Psalms 20:7 Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the Lord our God.
How do men build with wood, and not with gold? There’s always the tendency to trust in what mankind has produced, and leave God out. And you must be very careful not to cross that line.
Like the psalmist said, “Some trust in chariots, and some in horses, but we shall trust in the Lord our God”. When you see people tout their human achievements and philosophies…their inventions and setups…their intellect and science, then you know danger is looming.
But when you take a good look, you will find that the best that man has to offer without God is vanity upon vanity: Our best economic systems produce inequality and greed; The biggest health institutions produce viruses so that they can sell antivirus to make money; You will find governments terrorizing their own citizens so that they can hold on to power through fear. OUR HUMANITY WITHOUT DIVINITY IS FLAWED.
Can’t you see the fear and paranoia spreading all over the world in this pandemic era? Our governments have no clue whatsoever and they are stuck with TRY AND ERROR. Is that where you want to put your trust?
Ask yourself this: WHERE LIES MY TRUST? IS IT IN CHARIOTS AND HORSES, OR IT IS IN GOD? IS IT IN MY HUMANITY OR IT’S IN THE DIVINE? Selah!
GRACEFUL MORNING
