Jeremiah 29:11 AMP For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,’ says the Lord, ‘plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.

When I say to you, that according to the scriptures, the life of the Believer in Christ is not supposed to be an UP AND DOWN LIFE, I have a few people attacking me; which makes me wonder whether we rather prefer to have an inconsistent and fluctuating life. What do you prefer? A stable consistent life in Christ, or a TO-AND-FRO life where today things are good and tomorrow terrible; today you are sick to the point of death and tomorrow well? What life do you really want to live?

And please, don’t say IT IS LIKE THAT FOR EVERYONE. It is not. There is a place you come to in Christ where by maturity you have come into the PERMANENCY OF THE SPIRIT.

Many people find it safe to say, because it is happening to me, it must be happening to everyone. Or some say, because that great man of God experienced it, then it is general for all. A THOUSAND TIMES NO – YOU ERR WITH THAT ASSUMPTION.

Please heed this advice and it will serve you well:

DON’T DOWNGRADE GOD’S WORD TO AGREE WITH YOUR CURRENT STATE, RATHER UPGRADE YOUR STATE TO AGREE WITH THE STANDARD OF GOD’S WORD.

Don’t accept any experience as normal if it is not consistent with the revelation of God’s Word for your life. Don’t settle for anything sub-standard or average – YOU ARE GOD’S CHILD, AND HE HAS ONLY THE BEST PLANS AND LIFE FOR YOU IN CHRIST. Say Amen!
