1 John 5:11-13 And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.

When you ask many Christians what they received when they got born again, they can’t tell you.

When you say you are born again, what does it mean? Did something change in you? What changed? At your new birth, what did you actually receive?

So brother John tells us,

“These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; THAT YE MAY KNOW THAT YE HAVE ETERNAL LIFE.” -1 John 5:13.

That you may know that you have eternal life. It’s in the past tense. You already have this life. You’ve got ZOE in your spirit. You have it. It’s yours. ETERNAL LIFE IS YOUR LIFE NOW. Your biological life from your father was supplanted by the divine life. This is your reality. Do you see how glorious you are?

The AMPLIFIED says,

He who has the Son [by accepting Him as Lord and Savior] has the life [that is eternal]; he who does not have the Son of God [by personal faith] does not have the life.1 John 5:12 AMP

Let this be your thinking, and your consciousness all day long: YOU HAVE GOD’S  ETERNAL LIFE IN YOU. Praise God Forevermore!
