1 Corinthians 4:9-10 For I think that God hath set forth us the apostles last, as it were appointed to death: for we are made a spectacle unto the world, and to angels, and to men. We are fools for Christ’s sake, but ye are wise in Christ; we are weak, but ye are strong; ye are honourable, but we are despised.

You vowing you won’t go to church again because someone stepped on your toes over there is because you are too alive, you are not dead. You can’t evangelize and tell your school mates or work colleagues about Christ because you are shy? You are too alive! That neighbor will perish and go to hell because you were shy? You can’t give anything towards the spread of the Gospel because you have too many needs of your own? You are too alive to self. YOU CONFESS, ‘I AM DEAD IN CHRIST’, BUT I TELL YOU, YOU ARE NOT.

DEAD PEOPLE DON’T FEEL SHY, DON’T FEEL INSULTED, AND HAVE NO NEEDS OF THEIR OWN. Our Lord’s mandate is PRIORITY above everything else.

Before Watchman Nee left Hong Kong to return to mainland China during the persecutions, his family and many of the brethren there begged him not to go because he will be arrested, to which he replied,

“If a mother discovered that her house was on fire, and she herself was outside the house doing the laundry, what would she do? Although she realized the danger, would she not rush into the house? Although I know that my return is fraught with dangers, I know that many brothers and sisters are still inside. How can I not return?”

He was led by the Lord to go and remain in China and to sacrifice his life for the Lord’s work there, so as to release the other saints there; And he did. Amazing!

Lord teach us to DIE TO SELF AND LIVE FOR YOU DAILY.. Hallelujah!
