Hebrews 10:23 AMP Let us seize and hold tightly the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is reliable and trustworthy and faithful [to His word];
Jeremiah 1:12 The Lord said to me, “You have seen correctly, for I am watching to see that my word is fulfilled.”
Did you see that? THE LORD WATCHES OVER HIS WORD TO FULFILL IT. In fact, the Amplified Version says, “I AM ACTIVELY WATCHING OVER MY WORD TO FULFILL IT.”
A lot of people cannot hold onto God’s Word in the face of contrary sense evidence because, they don’t understand that THE LORD IS UNDER OBLIGATION TO DO HIS WORD. And He is faithful to His Word.
When I explained this phenomenon to one of my daughters, she said, “Then it seems God has tied himself up with his own word. He cannot fail us. He cannot ignore us. He must fulfill His word because His integrity is at stake.” I smiled heartily, and said, YOU GET IT MY DEAR. That’s it.
The Lord has tied His integrity to His word. He has exalted His word above himself. If His word fails, it means He has failed. When you understand this, you will hold fast to your confession of God’s word and never cower for a moment, no matter how many evidences your senses may present to you. Hallelujah! Be blessed!
