Matthew 8:1-3 When He had come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed Him. And behold, a leper came and worshiped Him, saying, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.” Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing; be cleansed.” Immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
I don’t know where we got this notion from, but some of us are of the opinion that God is responsible when something terrible happens to us, or when a problem befalls us. We sometimes think that God is not willing to give to us and that He withholds His blessings from us.
In Luke 11:11-13, Jesus asks,
“If a son asks for bread from any father among you, will he give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent instead of a fish? Or if he asks for an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!”
Why do you want to believe that, it is God who put the cancer in you to teach you a lesson? Your cancer might have several possible causes, but why do you think it is from God? If you have not received an answer to your prayers, have you stopped to think that you might be asking amiss, or not attuned to the frequency on which God is responding to you? Rather than saying, God doesn’t want to answer your prayers? ARE YOU BETTER AND MORE COMPASSIONATE THAN GOD? So if even you, as wicked as you can be, might not do that to your children, why will God do that to you, His child?
Our problem has always been what we don’t know. Child of God, your father is willing to help you and He has made the help available to you, if only you can see it and Receive it. Believe this, and you will enter a realm of miracles all day long. Be blessed!
GRACEFUL MORNING
